What health insurance plans cover toenail fungus medication and nail removal surgery?

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Hi,

I suffer from toenail fungus, and I’ve tried ALL home remedies available without success. I’m also about to buy health insurance. I thought I would take this opportunity to finally visit the doctor and get rid of this problem. My questions are:

1. Which health insurance plans offer the best coverage to treat toenail fungus?
2. Do they cover the medication and the surgery required in some cases to remove the toenail?

Thank you for all your help!

Most insurance will cover the costs you mention if the doctor thinks it is medically necessary. Check out this site to find the best health insurance just in one minute,

Which supplement is good to build body and gives power to work out. Is Optimum serious mass good?

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

I’m planning to build my body and very much confused to find which supplement is the best. Can any body suggest ?

I have been taking serious mass for a while (I bought a concrete sack on the stuff lol), but have recently stopped as im going for a cut.

I personally quite liked the serious mass. I’ve seen some decent gains since I started to use it, and to be honest I haven’t really put on any extra fat (Im a hardgainer with a very fast metabolism so im lucky). I also noticed my recovery period was quite a bit shorter than with other supplements I have taken in the past.

I would recommend, but remember when taking things like this which carry over 1600 calories in a shake with milk, you have to keep the hard work up, or you will start to put on that extra fat!

As for energy boost, I take nitrix (a N2O supplement which i swear by). When taking nitrix after a few weeks, im sure most people (who have taken it) will agree that your strength and the amount of time you can train at the gym is improved. Be careful though, it carries a hefty price tag!

Best of luck on your weight gain!

What is the difference between a nutrition and a dietetics degree?

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Hi, so it’s time for me to really think about what undergrad degree I’m going to work towards. But the university where I’m going cancelled their dietetics degree program (Faculty of Biochemistry) They do still have a Nutrition program. So, what I want to know is: Is there any significant difference between a nutrition or dietetics degree? Could I still become a dietition with a nutrition degree?

Almost anyone can call themselves a nutritionist and attempt to provide service without formal training, education and licensing. A dietitian, however, has completed several years of advanced college study to obtain at least a Bachelor’s degree and Dietetic Internship. This training, along with completion of the registration exam, is required for employment in hospitals and other health care facilities. The career opportunities and salary potential are far greater for Registered Dietitians.
Bottom line, you can become a dietitian with a nutrition degree after you get more education. A degree in nutrition alone won’t get you there.

I want to become a certified fitness instructor. From where should I get my certification?

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I’m looking to become a certified fitness instructor (group fitness/aerobics/steb/kickboxing). I know a few people who have gone different routes for their certification and wondered if anyone knew which company/association was the best to go through. I’m looking for a not-super-expensive one that is recognizable.

Thanks!

there are lots to chose from. I chose a certification which would allow me to train a high caliber of athlete…

How do I improve the health of my battery in my MacBook, and is this a good health?

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I downloaded the iStat Pro widget today, and I looked at the battery health section. It read that my battery health is at 97% after 230 cycles. I’ve had it since June ’08, so I was wondering if that was a good battery health considering its age and cycles.

What else can I do to improve my battery health, or keep it at a good percent, over the years? Any suggestions?

Don’t use computer with the charger plugged in unless it needs to be charged. Doing so will kill the battery in short order. Batteries are designed to be discharged and charged. Many say batteries have no memory which I dispute. Read several pages here and you’ll find that most of the battery problems are from leaving the charger plugged in.

What is the best supplement to help lose weight quickly?

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I am trying desperately to lose weight. I’m 18 and have struggled with weight all my life. I would love to lose about 130 and need to do so in order to be healty. I have tried every diet in the past from low carb, to low cal and fat. I do not eat much and gain a lot more weight than what I take in. I am one string from giving up and I am desperate. I am going to give another try to weight loss and this time I am planning to use a supplement to assist me. I am also considering doing the hollywood diet on the weekends to help. I went to the store and seen all of the different supplements and just really don’t know what is best. If you could help me I would really appreciate it.

honestly no supplement out there is going to work without proper exercise and a balance diet.

to start off with focus on cardiovascular work. 3 – 4 days a week of treadmill, bike, stairmaster, etc.. work for 30 45 min and always go for time rather than intensity (meaning lower down the level inorder to complete your time if you have too)

I hope this helps. I’d do this for at least 1 month before starting weight training. when a months up ask again :)

What is one of the advantages of producing human growth hormone (HGH) from a cloned gene in a bacterial cell?

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

A. The bacterial protein has a different amino acid sequence that is more effective.
B. As the protein is introduced therapeutically, it transfers the HGH gene as well.
C. Larger quantities are available.
D. A gene cloned from mice, rather than from humans can be used.
E. The product can be administered by infecting a person with the recombinant bacteria.

My guess is C.
