I am thinking about becoming a fitness model. I love to workout. I just want to know what I have to do in order to become. My ultimate goal is to be on the cover of a magazine. How do I do that? Can you guys help me?
you can THINK about becoming a fitness model all you want, but millions of other people are thinking of the same thing. if there were a secret weapon that would ensure you would become famous, everyone would be, so noone can really help you here. you have to not only have the body, but the face, the skin, the hair, the talent, the height and a TON of luck and connections to get any modeling job. you will also have to be a client of a well-known modeling agency, and they dont take just anyboy. anyway, male fitness models dont really become famous. i worked for a modeling agency and did some modeling a few years back, and i cant name one.

How do you become a famous fitness model?
Thursday, March 18th, 2010What is the best way to learn alternative health techniques and practices?
Thursday, March 18th, 2010I have always been extremely interested in alternative health techniques and treatments. I am currently in a very good job that I am not really crazy about. I would like to move into the alternative health field and would like to eventually open a health food store and small health spa. I know it is a process but I want to know where I can start. As far as I know (and I could be wrong) there is no school to go to learn alternative health. I don’t know where to start learning and how. Also for the learning process I need to work around my full time job as I don’t have the option to not work as I need the income. I really want to start learning about this field and just need some suggestions on where and how to start. Is there perhaps a way to be like an apprentice to an alternative practitioner?
What about some books from a health store?
An even better start is a web search in Yahoo for "alternative health techniques" that will yield at least 412 results including overviews of alternative health techniques and stacks of other useful information for you.
Another useful search in Yahoo for "alternative health practices" will yield at least 2,888 results.
What is the best supplement to gain athletic muscle?
Thursday, March 18th, 2010I am looking for protein supplement or something else that will allow me to gain muscle strength, not mass, while keeping me in the best athletic shape as possible. I am 6′ 0" and weigh 180. I play football and run 100, 200, and 400m in track. I dont want the muscle to turn into fat and i dont reallly want creatine.
there are 3
1. protien shakes look for a powder that has a high protien low cholesterol % Wal-mart carries a decent brand of protien poder but there a plenty of others out there.
2. A good multivitamin taken daily will really help your body.
3. I know you said no creatine but if I were you I would try it. It doesn’t really make you bigger it just helps heal your muscles after a workout by letting more blood flow in the muscle.
Also muscle won’t turn into fat they are 2 completely different tissues, thats like saying an apple can turn into orange juice. Muscles can get alot less tone over time and look like fat but they will never turn into fat.
Where can I find information on the nutrition and how to cultivate different mushrooms?
Thursday, March 18th, 2010I love mushrooms and my wife is moving us toward a diet with less meat and dairy (per her research on nutrition including having read The China Study), so I thought it would be fun to cultivate mushrooms. Maybe Shiitake and Portablella but before we choose which, I would like help in determining which have the most health benefits (including if you cook them do you remove their benefits) and which you can grow on your own.
try these:

How can I get my doctor to perscribe me HGH?
Thursday, March 18th, 2010I will never grow, no matter how much I eat or lift. For every pound I weigh I eat twice that in grams of protein per day. I lift heavy, and correctly. Nothing. I’m tiny, I want HGH. How do I get my doctor to prescribe and administer HGH or any other steroid for myself?
first off, relax for a minute. I recently studied HGH in a Human Development course and according to current research HGH isn’t necessarily bad for humans. it is however, meant for people who are older than twenty five years old because a person is technically done growing. HGH will help a persons muscle mass, strength, and ability to recover more quickly from workouts and/or injury. my advice is don’t piss off your doctor. do some research on HGH and wait until your done growing. Most people who use this method are chronically ill and need it to rebuild tissue or organ productivity. just thank your lucky stars you don’t really need it, and keep lifting, your body will develop naturally. besides, if your short and you get all puffed up from juicing, just think how fat you’ll look when you get older
What is good reading material for fitness and diet?
Thursday, March 11th, 2010I’m looking to become a health nut. I’d like to know what the proper reading material is for the straightforward science of diet and fitness. There’s so much reading material, I don’t know where to begin.
You probably want to start by subscribing to one of the magazines aimed at health and fitness for men. SUbscribing means you get a monthly push, mental jolt call it whatever you want. The most popular in terms of sales is Men’s Health, it’s quite light hearted, almost a lads mag with muscles and dietary advice, you get plenty of small tips and it’s easy to read. Second place goes to Men’s Fitness, it’s not so jaunty as MH but it does go into more detail, but it is a harder read.
How do health insurance tax deductions work for a member managed LLC?
Thursday, March 11th, 2010I own a business (LLC) with two other people. It is only us three; we do not have any additional employees. We pay for our health insurance through our business. Based on these facts, I was wondering how much I stand to save on my personal taxes. Is this a standard write off like any other business expense or does the IRS treat health insurance differently?
Multiple member LLC’s can be taxed 3 different ways:
1. As a partnership
2. As a C corporation
3. As an S Corporation
The deductability of health insurance premiums for your LLC will depend on which of the 3 types of entities your LLC elected to be taxed at (the default is the partnership form of taxation).
Typically, you will be able to deduct 100% of your health insurance premiums although there are some specials considerations for owner/officers of S Corporations who own more than 2% of the company.
If you speak with a CPA or qualified tax advisor they should be able to give you plenty of good tips. One thing that you may want to mention is a medical reimbursement plan. Here is some more detail on medical reimbursement plans:

What type of jobs are available for marketing in the nutrition field?
Thursday, March 11th, 2010I don’t have an educational background in nutrition, but would like to explore a marketing career involving nutrition/wellness. Do you have any suggestions for careers/companies to explore?
Speaking as a Marketing Major myself, I say it would depend upon your marketing concentration (Most community colleges offer basic nutrition classes which would give you more information on that side). So if you are into Sales, then I would try a whole foods distributor. If you are into promotions then I would say a place like the food and drug administration. If you are interested in a particular food item like Milk, I’d try the dairy counsel. It all just really depends upon where your interests lie.
What percentage of MLB players do you think are still using steroids and HGH?
Thursday, March 11th, 2010MLB testing standards are lax. On top of that, players can easily beat the tests through a number of methods. And on top of that, players such as A-Rod have even admitted being tipped off before random tests. So, knowing all of that, what percentage of MLB players do you think are still using anabolic steroids and HGH?
No higher or lower than any other major professional sport.
