What is the character and fitness evaluation: law?

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

I read a bit about the character and fitness evaluation, however, it has nothing to do with fitness, right? I saw that it looks back on your medical record, felony record, what else?

Thanks

Assuming you are talking about being admitted to the bar, then yes, it has nothing to do with being physically fit.

"Fitness" refers to being fit to practice law and being trusted with client’s secrets and money. It does not look at you medical record unless you have a history of metal illness or psychiatric commitments. It looks at your entire criminal record (not just felonies), including misdemeanors, tickets, and arrests even when charges were not filed, and it also involves a background check with your past employers to ensure that you have never been fired for dishonest behavior or anything like that.

What parts of the health care system in Canada is already privatized?

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

Are hospitals, doctors offices and emergency rooms part of the health care system that are already privatized? If so, what other parts of the health care system is already privatized? Thanks for all your help!

About 75 percent of health care services in Canada are delivered privately but funded publicly. The government does not run most of the hospitals and clinics; it only pays them for the services they provide, and sets the fees they can charge.

Some things are not covered by the government system, including prescription drugs and dental care. To cover those needs, most Canadians have supplemental private insurance, which is usually paid for by their employer.

Is a Raspberry leaf supplement good for menstrual cramps?

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

I do not have a tea but have a supplement capsule. Would it help my cramping now or is this something I need to take on a daily basis to get the pain relief?
Thanks so much.
I meant Red Raspberry.

I really don’t know about that as a supplement capsule, but many girls I’ve interviewed had good relief by drinking raspberry tea, among other types, so I would think that it would most likely be beneficial for your cramps. Good luck! :)

How helpful/effective is the Insanity elite nutrition guide?

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

I’m trying to get myself to follow the elite nutrition guide to go along wit Insanity. What have your results been like with the nutrition guide? Will I be able to get my six pack and how long should it take? I’ve been doing Insanity for a while now but without the nutrition guide. I feel like a may have hit a plateau.
Using an online calculator I’ve estimated my body fat percentage to be 14%
I think I need under 10% to get a six pack.

Can a 21 year old take a HGH supplement and not have health issues down the road?

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

im 21 and I want to take a HGH supplement in capsule form…a few people are telling me it can give me erectile disfunction and liver disease a few years down the line like when im 29 30 years old…is this true? or will it be safe if I only take it for a couple of months?

HGH supplements in low-dose, safe-administration forms (like tablets, creams or under-the-tongue forms) are approved by the FDA on the market under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. There shouldn’t be side effects if you choose a quality product.

However, the Federal Trade Commission has seen no reliable evidence to support the claim that these products have the same effects as prescription HGH, which is always given by injection.

Can i be a fitness intructor at night and a physical education teacher in the day?

Monday, April 15th, 2013

I am planning on majoring in physical education or kinesology to become a physical ed teacher and instruct fitness classes at a gym like Gold’s Gym. So do you think its possible to do both of these because the salary’s together make a good amount and i love those two jobs. Please help. by the way i’m a junior in high school.

Yes. Many teachers I know moonlight due to the low pay. Most I know do tutoring, but I know some who work as fitness instructors (most of them working for the YMCA). One teacher had a small business: he installed swimming pools during the summer. Another teacher built furniture year round.
If you’re the type of person who likes to stay busy, I think you’ll find it very rewarding.

What is the best health insurance carrier for those self employed?

Monday, April 15th, 2013

I’m very confused as to finding health insurance since I’ll be self employed soon. Can anyone suggest a health carrier that is easy to get insured and are reliable? Thank you.
I’m really not interested in going online, as have been warned. And I have been online and don’t need a million calls wanting my business. Thanks, but no thanks. I am interested in details and sure information. Like seeing an agent.

A lot depends on your personal situation and what state you live in.

Generally though you will want to stick with a large and trustworthy company like a United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.

Shop around and compare quotes from at least 3 companies to find the best rate. Here is some more info on some thing you should know when looking for self employed health insurance:

What does it mean when an angle is the supplement of another?

Monday, April 15th, 2013

Hello,

I’m a little stuck on a math problem and can’t find the answer anywhere. It would really help if I knew what it meant when one angle is the supplement of another, haha. I have to find x in this problem: The largest exterior angle has the measure x + 8, and the smallest interior angle is the supplement of that angle. It is refering to a triangle.

Please don’t tell me the answer! However If I could get the equation that would be a great help. Thank you!

A supplement is something you add to another number to make 180 degrees. Hopefully it gave you something on the interior angle, because you’d have to add that to the x+8, then set it equal to 180 degrees, then solve for X.

If it doesn’t, then I’d assume that the interior angle is X.

Good luck!

How does my knowledge of nutrition, specifically in observing proper diet, help in saving the environment?

Monday, April 15th, 2013

How does my knowledge of nutrition, specifically in observing proper diet, help in saving the environment?
Will my knowledge of correct unit conversion help me become an effective member of society?

An example of a way that nutrition can help the environment is FoodBank. What about getting people to eat fresh foods, cooking from scratch and not buying takeaway therefore reducing the amount of packaging and processing (foods which are also generally alot healthier)?

Not sure about the unit conversion bit?

How do I train and participate in a fitness competition?

Wednesday, April 10th, 2013

I am looking to train and get my body in shape to be apart of a fitness competition. I want to lose more body fat and compete in pageants and stuff like that. How does one get into something like that.

There are fitness magazines in the stores that would give you alot of information about this. The magazines are all about the competitions, the top competitors and what they do to prepare for these competitions. They may even have info on how to sign up for one. Sounds like fun! Go for it!
